Roman is a Uruguayan company established in 1985, specialising in forest harvesting equipment and maintenance services. 

Roman was one of Dynamo’s first clients with the relationship starting in 2011. They were growing very fast with further ambitious growth objectives, but their systems were beginning to fail in supporting them through such accelerated growth. It was becoming impossible to manage the business in a unified manner, creating some serious financial issues. 

The situation led Roman to implement Dynamics AX 2012, the first company in the region to implement this version of Microsoft ERP. The solution covered all their needs from financial requirements, to operational and maintenance processes.

A big challenge for Roman was to ensure maximum utility and efficiencies from their forestry machines, with minimal downtime. To achieve this, Dynamo helped implement Power BI panels to monitor the machines and provide ongoing performance information. Additionally, they supported Roman by implementing a mobile application connected with the ERP solution for the use of their technicians in the field. Dynamo also helped Roman to implement an e-commerce solution.

The solution has helped the company achieve greater efficiencies and allowed them to implement new business quickly and with flexibility.
